I have made this scarf countless times and it is always a fun knit; the design combines basic techniques and fine lace to create a beautifully balanced, timeless piece. Work longer or shorter depending on the size of your little one, or turn into a cowl for a more modern look!

Yarn

Yarn A: 2 skeins of Merino by Knitting for Olive (100% merino wool, 273 yds / 249 m – 50 g), colourway Brown Nougat (pink version) and Pomegranate (red version) 

Yarn B: 2 skeins of Soft Silk Mohair by Knitting for Olive (70% mohair, 30% silk, 246 yds / 225 m – 25 g), colourway Brown Nougat (pink version) and Pomegranate (red version) 

Both yarns are held together throughout the pattern

 

Needles (NOT IN KIT): One pair of US 7 / 4.5 mm needles, or optional 24" / 60 cm circular needles
